Mr. Scott Jones is an Instructor of Business in the Fort Hays State University Department of Applied Business Studies and the Director for the Center of Economic Education. Scott has over 20 years of teaching experience with universities and educational organizations.
Scott has an Ed.S. in Urban Leadership & Policy Studies from the University of Missouri - Kansas City, an M.A. in Educational Administration and Leadership from the University of Kansas, an M.S. in Curriculum & Instruction from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, a B.S. in Marketing Education from the University of Missouri-Columbia and is currently pursuing his PhD in Curriculum & Instruction from Kansas State University. Scott has worked with DECA for more than 25 years in a variety of different capacities.
Brooks is a senior at Fort Hays State University. He is pursuing a Bachelors of Business Administration in Marketing with an emphasis in Digital Marketing and a certificate in Tourism and Hospitality Management.
Brooks was the president of his high school DECA chapter during his time at Hays High School.
He has also served as President, Treasurer, and
Vice President of the Collegiate DECA chapter at Fort Hays State University.
In addition to working for the Kansas DECA State Office, Brooks also consults other businesses providing graphic, content, and web development services.
Pablo is pursuing a Master’s in Human Resource Management, received a full-scholarship for both his bachelor’s and master’s degree at Fort Hays State University (FHSU).
Throughout his time at FHSU, Pablo has interned for Sunflower Electric, has competed and won over $9,000 in winnings with entreprenuership competitions, has held multiple director positions for the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) student chapter. Additionally, Pablo has been a marketing director for the Collegiate Entrepreneurs’ Organization (CEO), mentored for multiple summer camps hosted by FHSU, and has been a resident of Dane G. Hansen Scholarship Hall for the past two years.
Mrs. Clark received a B.S. Degree in Secondary Education, Business and Computer Studies, from Kansas State University.
Before leading Business Education efforts at KSDE, Mrs. Clark was employed by Stafford USD 349 as Stafford SEED (Stafford Entrepreneurship and Economic Development) Center High School Instructor, Yearbook Advisor, Pathway Teacher in the areas of Marketing Management and Hospitality and Tourism. She established a Hospitality and Tourism Restaurant and Event Management Pathway combining Entrepreneurship, Marketing and Culinary Arts through a RPOS grant.

Cristal graduated from Fort Hays State in 2019 with a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Finance. Cristal completed her BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) in International Business and Economics in 2017.
Following graduating from FHSU, Cristal moved to Kansas City, Kansas where she currently works as an immigration paralegal.

Brooke is a senior at Fort Hays State University pursuing a degree in Tourism and Hospitality Management. She participated in DECA in both high school and currently serving as President of the chapter at FHSU.
Brooke has gained experience in the event planning industry from working for the Hays Chamber of Commerce and doing internships across the country in places such as Charleston, SC, and Phoenix, AZ. She also owns her own wedding event planning business, Magnolia Lane.
