ROLE PLAYS INDIVIDUAL & TEAM DECISION MAKING EVENTS

All cases will be made available online
from February 28 - March 1, 2022.

Recording Guidelines

  • All solutions must be recorded in one real-time presentation.

  • No editing or visual effects/transitions may be included.

  • Individuals may choose to record from any device or through a virtual meeting platform.

    • Examples: Zoom, Microsoft Teams, FlipGrid, Google Meet, GoToMeeting, etc.

  • Team Decision Making competitors must record their solution using a virtual meeting platform with side-by-side screens of the students (if recording from 2 different machines).

    • Note: Select "Gallery View", not "Speaker View" to ensure that all participants always stay visible.

  • The student(s) must always be visible.

  • All presentations must be within the maximum allowed time limits for the student's event.

    • Individuals have a 10-minute maximum.​

    • Teams have a 15-minute maximum. 

  • Student(s) must be dressed in business professional attire for the presentation.

  • Only the student(s) presenting and competing may be included in the presentation.

  • For these events, the only visual aids allowed will be those which can be created using the basic functions in either Microsoft Word or Google Docs which are restricted to typed text, basic shapes, and tables that can be shown on-screen via the screen sharing feature in Zoom.

    • Limited to the use of the color black only. No color.

    • Videos, graphs, images, imported items, templates, and designs are NOT allowed    

  • If this recording is conducted from home, it must be done in a gathering area such as a living room, dining room, or den. If the video is recorded in a bedroom or bathroom it may be immediately disqualified without notice/notification. 

    • It is crucial to consider your background. Ensure the environment is neat and presentable. Consider this as your office, or the location setting suited to your event.

Submission Guidelines

  • Students will need to upload their video to video sharing platform.

  • Students will submit their presentation video link via the competition portal.
